This was a song that was sort of Dillinger Escape Plan -ish. We were thinking about the brutality of various body parts in bags. But we took it a step further.
What if the monotony of a day job as a bag boy was just too much? So we started playing around with putting everything in bags as a concept. Even metaphorical things like financial stability.
I will stab your children, and give them back to you in a bag
I will burn your house down and give it back to you in a bag
I will set your wife on fire. She will be sent to you in a bag
I will shove your dad into a mower and empty out the bag
"A notice to all employees, please wash your hands before bagging any bags. Customers, there's a sale on aisle seven thank you so much for shopping at bag mart, and have a nice day"
"Hey, I can help you over here!
How's it goin'?
Oh that's great.
Yeah! I hope your day's been great!"
"... Paper or plastic?"
I will crush your financial stability, and give it back to you in a bag
I will take away your psychological well-being, and hide it away in a bag
I will bag your bags into a bag, and give them back to you, in a bag
I will kill your future and give it back to you in a bag
